This app makes working with Garmin watches and its built-in Strength Workout app a bit less painful for me. It's not perfect, but its problems are mostly because of the limitations of the Garmin app. As far as I know it's the only Android app in this particular niche. Well worth the installation.

Wanted what Garmin couldn't provide (workout progression tracking) & this app delivers. I have the paid version as the free only offers 3 workouts & I like to have at least 2 weeks prepared. I've reached out via email for support twice & Evan has been responsive & sorted the issue within hours on both occasions. There isn't a fully expansive list of exercises, but they are so simple to create it doesn't matter. Highly recommend for anyone looking for more than Garmin Connect provides!

After the developer explained why the watch only shows the word 'Go' in place of the exercise name during the workout (with the custom name showing in notes when viewing details), I appreciated the personalized explanation and the solution to Garmin limitations. The explanation is also published in the 2025-01-13 Lift Track Blog, Custom Exercises in Lift Track. (Garmin Instinct Solar Crossover Tactical, watch update: 17.08).

Cons>Pros The application has a big fault, during a workout, the rep counts are not counted when you finish, and it transfers to both Garmin and Lift Track apps with 0 reps counted. You can enable rep counting on the watch, but it defaults to 0 at the end of each set even though the workout had the rep counts, and you can see this during the exercise preview. This means inputting the rep count after each single set or editing the workout after you finish.

App launched upon first installation. App now crashes on logo and never turns on. That's been the case for the past few months. Contacted support but did not receive useful feedback. Issue still persists. Will likely not be renewing subscription.

Still testing the premium version but so far I've not been impressed. Besides, a slightly more friendly interface to create workouts, I struggle to see the value for what it cost. I may change this in the future, but I've had issues with workouts I complete on my watch not syncing, not detecting progression update for future workouts, having issues with the scheduling feature that forces me to disconnect and reconnect the link to garmin... I like the concept, just not seeing the value for the cost
