Great Little App! I hate it when I have my camera pointed in one direction and a gigantic bolt strikes in the opposite direction but thanks to the Lightning Trigger App I can have both areas covered! It's also great for sharing awesome lightning photos via Twitter or Facebook when it happens instead of waiting to get home to process photos. Marcelo Albuquerque @COSpotter_MJA

Hoping my phone is just too new... Just downloaded the app onto my HTC One (Android 4.1.2), and the best performance experienced so far is random pics (sensitivity too high?) and a 2-3 second delay in response to a very bright bolt in view. A check of the pictures taken nets zero capture of any lightning bolts or flashes.

Samsung S4 Very disappointed with this app. Compared to similar iPhone apps this is a poor gimmick and a waste of money. It picks up a streetlight but not a full-blown electrical storm....

Android App Do not confuse the android app with anything that Rich Davis is selling. This is a different company that produced this and is selling it. Rich is a professional and his product is outstanding. As for the app, I only got to try it once, and it never captured lightning that was in front of me. My phone quit and even though I bought the same exact phone and used my SD card from the old phone, the app will not work at all. I contacted Aman Jain by email about this, and I would have to repurchase the app for the replacement phone. I think I will just download one of the free apps that are on the internet. Rich stands behind everything he does, but apparently pixel tech is not worried about repeat customers or recommendations from users. Paul Evans-Missouri
