Description by Clean Planet Project Co.(from Google Play)
The Litter CleanUp mobile app is a platform that creates an exciting new initiative: pick up litter, encourage each other, and have fun while volunteering to make a difference for your community and the planet… all while improving your well-being by being outside and contributing to a greater purpose!
We all walk by litter every single day - most likely without even realizing it. Plastic water bottles, cigarette butts, food wrappers… the list of trash outside is endless, and it is negatively impacting our planet at an alarming rate.
That’s where the Litter CleanUp app comes in!
There are 3 main functions of the app:
1. The ability to ‘submit’ your cleanups, whether it is 1 piece of trash or 100! 2. A profile page that tracks your progress (total litter count, streak, referrals, and cool badges) and shows a map of all of the litter you’ve picked up around the world. 3. A ‘connect’ page that allows you to create posts from your cleanups and encourage others to pick up litter too! We call it the Trash Talk :)

This is a great app. The trash count and awards feature motivates you to go out and pick up more items. It's great if you're on community service too. You can go out whenever your schedule allows. I do have a minor criticism/advice. If the recognition software detects an invalid image, it should automatically discard it otherwise your entire clean up will be invalid. Your submission will eventually be corrected, but I think it would climate the burden on everyone to simply discard the bad image.

Great idea I love picking up litter and this is amazing at motivating me to go out every day and do it absolutely amazing 😝.

Going on walks and noticing garbage more just trying to make a difference and do a good daily turn
★★☆☆☆
Seems to be based around picking up individual pieces of litter. If I've collected a whole bin bag's worth of cigarette ends and crisp packets I have no idea how many pieces I've picked up. I want to enter "1 bag", not try and count/guess a number of specific items. Also, please, please, please correct the spelling of 'fortnite' in the Streak Badges section. 'Fortnite' is a game. The two-week period the app's referring to is 'fortnight'.

I can't see any of my posts, and there's nowhere to delete the account.

This app is a waste of time. I did community service hours for court and requested a certificate for my hours and had no response from anyone at this bogus organization.
