Lumen - Daily Bible Offline

Lumen is an offline Bible reading app built like a proper e-book reader, not a cluttered church-app dashboard. Open it once and every chapter is already on your device.

TWO TRANSLATIONS, SIDE BY SIDE
Read the Korean 개역한글 (Korean Revised Version) translation and the English World English Bible together, verse by verse, so cross-referencing between languages takes a tap instead of switching apps.

100% OFFLINE, EVERY VERSE
All 66 books are stored directly on your device from the moment you install. There's no waiting for chapters to download and no dead screen when you lose signal on a commute or a flight.

A BUILT-IN BIBLE GLOSSARY
Nearly 500 entries explain names, places, and terms you'll run into while reading - customs, feasts, and words that don't have an everyday equivalent - organized by category and searchable on their own.

BOOKMARKS AND READING PROGRESS
Pick up exactly where you left off. Bookmarks and progress are saved automatically as you read, chapter by chapter, book by book.

QUICK CHAPTER JUMP
Tap the chapter title while reading to open a full grid of every chapter in that book, so jumping from Genesis 3 to Genesis 40 takes one tap instead of a long scroll.

READS LIKE A REAL BOOK
Clean typography, a genuine reading layout, and full light and dark themes make long reading sessions comfortable instead of tiring, whether you're reading at your desk or in bed at night.

BUILT FOR EVERY LANGUAGE READER
The interface itself is available in Korean and English, and book names adapt to your chosen language throughout the reader.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I need an account or internet connection to read?
No. Every chapter of both translations is stored on your device after installation, and reading works completely offline with no account, login, or sign-up required.

How much can I read without upgrading?
The starting tier includes 5 chapters a day of the Korean translation, with ads shown outside the reading screen itself - never mid-chapter. Premium removes that daily limit along with the ads.

What does Premium unlock?
A single one-time purchase removes all limits and ads, and unlocks full-text search, the complete glossary, side-by-side Korean-English reading, and additional sepia and night reading themes.

Is Premium a subscription?
No. Premium is a one-time purchase - pay once and keep every unlocked feature for as long as you use the app. There's no recurring charge, ever.

Which translations does Lumen use, and are they accurate?
Lumen uses the 개역한글 (1961) Korean translation, now in the public domain, and the World English Bible, a public-domain English translation - both are established, widely used texts, not machine translations.

Can I search for a specific verse or word?
Yes, with Premium. Full-text search covers both translations at once, so you can look up a word in either language and see every verse where it appears, instead of paging through books by memory.

Does the daily limit reset, or is it a one-time allowance?
The 5-chapter starting limit resets every day, so you can keep reading day after day at that pace with no extra purchase - Premium simply removes the cap entirely for uninterrupted reading.

Will my bookmarks and reading progress be lost if I upgrade later?
No. Bookmarks and progress are saved locally as you read from the very first chapter, regardless of whether you're on the starting tier or have unlocked Premium, and nothing resets when you upgrade.

LUMEN PREMIUM
One purchase, forever: unlimited daily reading, every ad removed, full-text search across both translations, the complete glossary, side-by-side Korean-English view, and sepia and night themes for reading in any light.
