Makro’s Express app provides a smart way for you to save time and money by beating the queue. Simply add your card, shop from a personal list, or scan your items directly to your trolley. Steps to accelerate your in-store checkout process: Link your Makro Card Add your Makro Card by simply typing in your card number and confirm your details when prompted. Connect to our Customer WIFI in-store and store selection Once in-store, connect to our customer WIFI and select the store you are shopping at. Scan & Checkout As you add each item to your trolley, scan them using the app. Once complete, press the checkout button on the app and a barcode will be produced. Go to our Express Checkout counters and show the barcode to our cashier. Plan your shopping Use the Shopping list feature to preplan your shopping. We need to connect to the Customer Wi-Fi, but after trying to sign in for 15 minutes, I was still unsuccessful. I gave up and could not use the express checkout.

Tried to use the app, in store as required. The store Wi-Fi was on, but not accepting the app, tried several times - have screen grabs as proof of error/problem, asked for help from Customer Support, - very nice and helpful - and they advise the store Wi-Fi is problematic. With no luck I sent an email afterward to give feedback, on how to my first try experience was poor. It is a week since, so today they get this poor review! So you have three issues now. - Fix the store Wi-Fi (contact me to tell you which store) - Reply promptly with emails - Fix the original APP issue!

This app is great for a small shopping list but the bigger the list gets it kicks you out of the app and makro customer Wi-Fi is too slow
