This is a scam company do not get involved with them. They promised over 5 years ago to be an art investment portfolio, but really they have just created a secondary market to hold your money with no hope of returns. I'm down $1500 and lesson learned.

This company does bot want foreign customers. As soon as the sales agent found out I'm from europe he stopped setting up my account and allegedly put me on some wait list, which actually meant my account will never be unlocked. There is no GDPR compliance at all, even though Masterworks advertises they are open to customers worldwide. And worst of all, after you have given them all your data, there is no option to delete your data on the website.

Not a scam but feels like it. Worst investing mistake you can make. Money is not available when needed. They will keep your shares in their painting for years, and you will probably lose money. Just buy stocks than getting into the scam that is buying art shares.
