We have had Mediacoms home controller for over 18 months. We have never had a problem. I really like the key pad on the new app, I was tired of having to scroll up and down to enter alarm code!

first off thermostat and the app don't work together... it took over 3 minutes to shut off furnace last night and the guy was here yesterday. the app says manage key codes. that don't set up door key pad codes, just stores them more or less. he had to take from door pad apart to set up a code, then i realised later he took my master one out and put my friends in. then the system don't see the front door now. the screen is pixilated all the time . stuck paying for equipment even if don't work

I have had nothing but trouble with this app, my pad which I have been told is outdated and isn't sending a strong enough signal. I have had this service for about 2yrs and have had nothing but trouble from the beginning. I almost hate calling Mediacom, because its the same problem each time. Whatever the problem is fix it cause I am paying for it and I am fed up! I can't even keep an eye on my home because the app won't let me sign in most times, so what's the use? Anyway JUST FIX IT!!!!!!

It took 5 crew members from 9am till 6pm to get the security job done.Also me (billy davis) and roomate (neita neal).The security installers coulda been better qualified.They also did not show much of touch screen homeportal instrucrtions.The cable internet intallers just left the modem on the floor didnt bother to ask where to mount it at.My puppys had a ball tearing up the cords.(thankful i had exstra)! Also niether cable or security installers bothered to hook up the telephone to modems.
