Description

The Merlin Ride Access Pass provides a virtual queuing experience for guests who may find it difficult to stand for long periods due to a disability or long term health condition, removing the need to wait within the main attraction queue lines and enter via a dedicated entrance.

To apply, you will need to have a valid Nimbus Disability card which determines eligibility for a Ride Access Pass.

Simply enter the details of your Nimbus Access Card in the app to register your account. Qualifying guests are then able to reserve and manage Ride Access Pass access to some of our UK Resort Theme parks.

Tried for over a week to book passes for my 2 kids kept just getting error messages. Phoned to try to get some help, but that was a waste of time no help given. Now the dates we needed aren't available. Absolute shambles of an app

The core issue is that this app is "unfit for purpose." People who require a Ride Access Pass often deal with sensory overload, anxiety, or physical limitations. Forcing them to rely on a buggy, battery-draining app that may or may not work at the gate adds a layer of stress that makes the park experience inaccessible. A digital system should simplify access, not become a barrier to it. Merlin has prioritized a "modern" digital footprint over actual functionality.

The new RAP booking system is incredibly poor, slots are rarely available, and on the days new slots are released, the app crashed continually. However, when on site using the app for rides we found this to work quite well, the countdown times is a big improvement and the queue time commencing from the moment you join the queue cis much fairer. Although the app glitched and would not scan the QR code on a number of occasions. Thankful Merlin U-turned their decision to exclude neurodivergent guest
