The Merlin Ride Access Pass provides a virtual queuing experience for guests who may find it difficult to stand for long periods due to a disability or long term health condition, removing the need to wait within the main attraction queue lines and enter via a dedicated entrance.
To apply, you will need to have a valid Nimbus Disability card which determines eligibility for a Ride Access Pass.
Simply enter the details of your Nimbus Access Card in the app to register your account. Qualifying guests are then able to reserve and manage Ride Access Pass access to some of our UK Resort Theme parks.

This works really, really well, and I used it easily and its well explained when following all guidance given. The issue I had was the connection dropping a few times at random times, which is frustrating but doesn't ruin the day or ride times. Definitely better than the old system though. Great work Thorpe Park !

Sadly with my daughter even the 30 or 45 minute wait on the app is a nightmare. I'd bought fast track silver as well but when the 5 goes ran out on those tickets she just kept getting worse, lost her at one point, while it is helpful, for ones that struggle to queue the wait time between rides anything above 20 mins is a nightmare. When the last one came up at 3pm that the wait would be 45 mins, that was it she made us leave. It was a very busy day so the crowds probably added to it.

Im a RAP user I have had no issues with this app, merlin release dates every 2 months for the following 2 months so basically 30th march release date then you can book upto end may

The new RAP booking system is incredibly poor, slots are rarely available, and on the days new slots are released, the app crashed continually. However, when on site using the app for rides we found this to work quite well, the countdown times is a big improvement and the queue time commencing from the moment you join the queue cis much fairer. Although the app glitched and would not scan the QR code on a number of occasions. Thankful Merlin U-turned their decision to exclude neurodivergent guest

App doesn't work, can't book in or pre-book for any slots, app crashes so can't even turn up on the day to scan the ride qr code to get a slot either.

The core issue is that this app is "unfit for purpose." People who require a Ride Access Pass often deal with sensory overload, anxiety, or physical limitations. Forcing them to rely on a buggy, battery-draining app that may or may not work at the gate adds a layer of stress that makes the park experience inaccessible. A digital system should simplify access, not become a barrier to it. Merlin has prioritized a "modern" digital footprint over actual functionality.
