Minetide is an offline minesweeper game with no guessing. Every minesweeper board can be solved by logic alone, from the first tap to the last mine: no 50/50 corners, no blind luck, no lost game you could not have won. Before a minesweeper board reaches you, a logic solver has to clear it from the first tap, one proof at a time. Any board that would need a guess is thrown away and a new one is made. The first tap is always safe and always opens an area to start from.

How to Play Minesweeper
Minetide keeps the classic rules, so there is nothing new to learn. First time? A one-minute lesson on a tiny board comes first.
1. Tap a cell to reveal it. A number shows how many of its eight neighbours hide a mine.
2. Long-press a cell to flag a mine, or switch the Reveal / Flag toggle and play with one thumb.
3. Tap a number whose mines are all flagged to open the rest of its neighbours at once. A wrong flag there sets off a mine, just as in classic minesweeper.
4. Open every safe cell to clear the board. Pinch to zoom on the big boards.

Minesweeper Hints That Teach
A hint never just plays for you. It rings one cell you can be sure of, rings the numbers that prove it and explains why in plain words, from a single number that already has its mines to the pair patterns and the mine count. It even tells you when one of your flags is wrong. The first hint on every board is free; after that a hint costs a few coins, and the game always asks first. Hit a mine? Once a game, a second chance for coins covers it with a flag so you can play on.
