I like that you have no time to think through what you're going to take a picture of or when to take the picture. Also getting to see another person's quick take is interesting. As of late January 2024 the app notification sounds, but when I take a picture the app simply closes and has since been kicking me out. I don't know if a picture is being taken because the app won't start open.

Love Minutiae for catching those random moments you'd forget! It's like a little nudge to be present, you know? Only bummer is the notifications can be flaky sometimes. If you can handle missing a blip here and there, it's a pretty cool way to keep a visual diary of your life.

Notifications don't show and when I do happen to take a photo on time the app doesn't show me one from another user, just a black box.

Interesting concept for real but bad execution. 90% of my images are black hahaha. I don't really think that everyone on the world receives a notification at the same time is a smart idea because of the fact I just mentioned. I don't care about anyone else you know? Just let me choose MY "awake" times and send me a notification in that period man. Also, such a pity not being able to see images of the past in bigger format.

I love the concept of this, and I even donated to get more time to respond to alerts. Has worked ok but no notifications arriving at my phone any longer. All setting are correct. May have to pursue refund if this doesn't sort itself out.
