PRIVACY — WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS TO YOUR ENTRIES
MoodMate requires an account. You sign in with Google or Apple before you can use the app.

Your journal is stored in the cloud (Google Firebase) so it stays available and in sync across your devices. Your diary text, the mood you attach to it, and its date are saved to our Google Firebase database. Your sign-in name and email address are stored in your account profile in the same database. Entries are stored against your account and are not shown to other users.

Your diary text is not sent to any AI provider; no third-party AI or analytics service receives your journal content.

MoodMate does not sell your personal data, and does not use your diary content for advertising or ad targeting.

Ads are served by Google AdMob and may use the Advertising ID. Ad personalisation follows your consent choices via App Tracking Transparency on iOS and the UMP consent flow.

Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) and usage events such as screen views and subscription steps (Firebase Analytics) are collected and are linked to your account.

Subscription purchases are verified through RevenueCat.

Deleting your account from Settings removes your profile and every diary entry from our database.
