Edit 05-23-20: Ring is dead, no longer holds a charge. All in all, I still stick by the four-star experience for just under a year and half of service... Awesome tech in an easy-to-use package; that said probably not dropping $200 for a replacement battery. RIP I do have sync issues occasionally that require me to restart my phone to get the ring and app to talk again, but otherwise the experience has been a net positive; everyone who has noticed the ring has been impressed, happy to recommend.

11/16/2020 UPDATE: uninstall and reinstall the app fixed the issue. You loose all your previous history but if it wasn't working right following the support page, it's worth a try. For me the ring and app are back to working like they should. (Only 4* cause tech supp didn't suggest this) 10/16/2020 Failure to sync. Followed every step on the support page and no luck. Emailed support and no response after 5+ days. App says spin ring, I spin the ring, blue light flashes and nothing happens.

I've had my Motiv ring for almost 2 years and have had the sync issue pretty much the whole time. Sometimes it does-sometimes it doesn't. Motiv even replaced it once. It's a bit of a pain, but going to app settings and doing a force quit gets it syncing for a while.

Have always had issues getting the ring to sync without disabling Bluetooth. Now I am finding huge battery drain from the app, up to 40% per day which is not sustainable. Not sure what has happened. Have had to stop using.

We're now in September 2022 Motiv has done nothing to improve the application, the ring does not pair seamless with Android. Save your money, avoid Motiv!! ...................... 2019: Seamless pairing desperately required for oneplus devices, I have to force stop the application every time to begin pairing my OnePlus 6 phone. Motiv reps, please make the update and I shall edit the rating
