Move GB is a brilliant organization, great concept with the ability to use many venues and varieties of classes - now all over the country with online classes. The possibility to freeze membership when required is particularly appreciated. It is great value for money and the customer service is excellent, worth overlooking occasional glitches with the app. I love the flexibility and choice that allows me to find classes at times to suit me. Highly recommended.

The service itself is really good, but the Android app is just awful. I'm not sure what's going on with the new update but it's so bad. It's not even like an app at all, it's more like a website. It is really awkward and badly organized, nothing is in a logical place. It's difficult to find out where to check in, to find the timetable of a venue is impossible, you can't even favorite a venue just classes (same on the iPad). I see no reason for it to be this bad.

The way they manage payments to Fitness instructors is completely ridiculous (at least to me). Most of the time, teaching more classes equals to lower total payment in the end of the month. Payment calculation come out wrongly a lot. They also charge ilegal payment processing fees. They should only charge payment processing fees when the member buys a class on a pay-as-you-go basis, but they're also charging us (activity providers) when the client is on a monthly membership. If a person pays a membership to Move GB, how come they can charge a payment processing fee to the activity provider? There's no direct sale here. Is that even legal? When I spoke with Hazel (Move GB partner management), she didn't say I was wrong, but said that's how the system works. The money they "steal" isn't that much, but it's still spiteful towards fitness instructors. Move GB is a good idea to keep people active, but the management beneath it is a complete joke.
