My Backup Root

★★★★★ For backup&restore it is fantastic, with great range of additional options I have been searching for an app backup and restore app that actually works consistently for a long time now because none have ever carried out a complete job. The additional options for backing up media, sms, calendar etc is a great addition, as is the ability to backup system app data. A real all rounder of an app that I have tested for backup purposes on JB 4.2.2 and Kitkat 4.4.2. The real test of course is in the restore, where so many fail miserably, but on carrying out a complete restore, it did so perfectly. It is slower to backup and restore that other options but the fact that it did so perfectly means that it is s worthwhile price to pay. One modification that I would like to see is an option to browse to choose alternative backup locations, rather than have to type in manually, which can b an additional pain when you have autocorrect on and it changes /mnt to /mint. I also noted that after the next reboot the external sd card was unmounted but this only happened once. So far, perfect and I shall purchase the pro version because of my good experience.

★★☆☆☆ Has not worked yet Since installing a couple of weeks ago this has not run my daily online backup as yet! Regardless of that why can't I use my Google Drive space instead. I already pay for that so not sure why I should pay for another online storage system. I selected to buy Pro to see what you get but the in app option errors. I'd prefer a Pro version that allowed me to use my own Google Drive.

★★☆☆☆ Not working on oppo find7 Smooth interface and likely a nice piece of software however it never stores any apk after it states successful completion of backup. I can verify no apks were stored in new folder and upon trying to restore I can verify the deleted app cannot be restored. In addition to that I verified there was no user data saved not restored even if I reformatted the software from play store. (Root version)

★★☆☆☆ Does what it is supposed to do, but currently doesn't work on Kit Kat I really like this app. I was using Titanium Backup, but the fact that you have to manually re install every single app with their data was kind of out of the question for me (unless you pay for it, my mistake, I forgot to say that.) . It does the job, incredibly slowly, but it does the job. Unfortunately, I will have to probably get Titanium Backup because this does not appear to work on Kit Kat. When I try restoring my apps, it will always freeze on "getting data" when selecting a previous backup. There really isn't any good reason for this, so its a real pity it doesn't work on Kit Kat. If you are below KitKat, this should work just fine for you.
