MyBusTrip gives you immediate access to real time information about bus services around Cambridge and throughout Cambridgeshire. MyBusTrip uses the inbuilt GPS features of your smart phone to work out where you are and deliver live visual public transport information. You can: • Find stops near to where you are, and see services that use each stop • Save favourite stops so that you can find them quickly whenever you need them • Save home and work stops so that you can see buses running on services for those stops at a glance • Set an alert that sounds when you approach a stop • See a map showing bus and stop locations • Show a list of departures from a selected stop • See a route map showing scheduled and predicted departure times at each stop.

One glitch, when you switch to another app & back it goes into a "Loading" loop requiring a restart. That aside, far superior to the Stagecoach app.

Great app! It is a very simple app and does what it says it will do on the tin. That is, it tells you where the bus is right now and when it will reach your stop. Accurate 99% of the time. The 1% that is not accurate, usually it is the fault of drivers who start the bus earlier than scheduled. All in all a nifty app.

1. It is very hard to tell which bus will come to the stop I'm at and where it will go next. 2. There doesn't seem to be any way to ask the app to make a route from point A to point B and tell you which buses to use and when they run. 3. On the live map view of bus positions, the dots that represent the buses disappear and reappear in jumps that makes it hard to follow an individual bus. 4. There's no information about how early or late or full or reliable a particular bus route is.

New version requested odd permissions, the information was mostly reliable, but there's always going to be some problems since traffic is live.
Tracking for the buses never worked though. Only a few buses could ever be
seen, even if you specified a route.
