MycoMapper is an outdoor scouting tool for mushroom foragers who want to check recent environmental conditions before heading into the woods. It combines regional suitability maps, weather history, soil signals, lightning activity and high resolution forest microcells in one map focused app.

Plan with more context

• View mushroom suitability based on recent weather and environmental indicators
• Review up to 21 days of recent conditions
• Compare air temperature, precipitation, soil temperature and soil moisture charts
• Explore lightning activity and see how recent recorded activity is
• Inspect 250 m forest microcells using forest type, tree cover, elevation, slope, aspect and estimated soil pH
• Save useful locations and revisit them later

Built for field use

• Save your car, bus stop, meeting point or starting location as a return point
• Follow simple distance and direction guidance back to the saved point
• Use return point guidance without relying on map tiles
• Optionally share a private live location link with family, friends or trusted people
• If connection is weak, live location updates may be queued locally and uploaded when connectivity returns
