I like how it decided exercises based on the equipment you have. I have a well stocked garage gym, and it gave good recommendations based on that. I also like that you can prioritize specific muscle groups and rank them. Super cool. The short rest times are something I am not used to. Workout number 2 and I am sore everywhere lol.

Took a little getting used to, but after a couple of weeks it starts getting more dialed in and workouts have been terrific. Biggest obstacle for me was getting used to allowing the app to design my workout split. Came here from the RP Hypertrophy app and the RP and juggernaut templates previous to that. Having an abnormal workout split during the week due to time constraints was always challenging to program, but adapt is doing an amazing job.

A let-down, to be honest. I used to carry a notebook and pen into the gym to track exercises, weights, reps and sets. I still have these going back to the 1990s. Finally, thought I'd give an App a go. I used one, but it was based off an Excel spreadsheet. Was ok, but not great. Adapt seemed good, until I discovered no tracking - at all! So I would need to carry my mobile and notebook. Nope. A monthly subscription for what? I am unsure. Not for me.

I really wanted to like this app, but after 7 months of use I can't recommend it. Once it started prescribing 1 set of 9 different exercises for leg day, I ditched it. Also, who is doing hanging knee raises with 80 lbs? I entered the weight at 15 lbs. and it continues to default to these absurd numbers. It continues to recommend exercises I put on the do not recommend list. I don't know what AI model is being used for his app, but it's not good. Visually, it's nice, but it doesn't function well.

I tried 2 months. The algorithm essentially divided each muscle group into rep categories (5-10, 10-15, 20-30) & divided weekly muscle group volume into these groups. But, it would give one exercise at a high number of sets for each category (e.g., 6 sets of Bulgarian Split Squats). I'd prefer to split into multiple exercises as performance just drops off too much, manually then editing the split after it got to '100%' to learn you then defeats the point of having the algo do the split.
