YOUR PERSONAL RECYCLING COMPANION

Scan your unique barcode to identify yourself at the Reverse Vending Machine (RVM), so that the correct deposit can be paid directly into your myTOMRA account.

DISCOVER YOUR CLOSEST LOCATION

Use the map feature to find your nearest recycling point. Check opening hours, accepted bottle types and payout methods.

EARN BADGES THROUGH ACHIEVEMENTS

Earn badges and track your progress by completing different challenges.

GO PAPERLESS WITH YOUR RECYCLING

Transfer your refunds automatically to PayPal or similar digital payout methods* or convert it into a digital receipt for a truly paperless recycling experience.

GET FULL CONTROL OF YOUR TRANSACTIONS

Check your recycling history and view the status of all your transactions.

SKIP THE LINE

The Bag Drop feature* allows you to drop entire bags of containers without having to wait in line at the recycling point. Stick the barcode to the bag, scan it with myTOMRA app and drop the bag at the designated location.

*Not available in all markets.

REQUESTED ACCESS

The app may request access to your location, storage (pictures, media, files) and Device ID & Call Information. The only data the app uses is your location information when using the map to find your nearest collection point. This information is never used or stored outside of the app.

Great but really annoying when Tamra remove several machines in your area, and you have less machines per head of population then your local machine is burnt out and the next closest one is suspiciously always full on the cans side for weeks on end.

Great app, could be better if we could just redeem the receipts through the app and payments sent to PayPal, also some machines don't have the QR Code or to scan the barcode on the machine or is it just in person?

This app sucks! It isn't designed for people in the USA! The app advertises that you can check location hours, bottle types accepted, etc. yet when you click on a location it only tells you business hours and that they have a bottle machine. Nothing about which bottles the locaton accepts. The app uses Google Maps for locations, yet it doesn't load correctly. There is nothing about where to do bag drops, yet they have the features for it in the app PayPal is the only way to cash out. No other way.

When I click on NSW to see where the closest machines are, it comes up with what machines are available in WA and only in WA. Why the hell would you think I want to travel from one side of the country to the other for this simple task? I honestly thought NSW had the return and earn scheme these days but obviously not.
