The app is your CDS Vic by TOMRA Cleanaway account, enabling you to choose what you would like to do with your refunds. You can directly transfer your earnings into either your bank account or PayPal, store digital vouchers to redeem for cash or purchases at your nearest supermarket or you can donate to charity.

The CDS Vic West app makes it easy to find out when the nearest collection machine has closed for the day. Because these CDS machines all close at different hours each night, when the gnomes working inside go home to be with their families, living in their tiny mushroom houses. Of course, we're still not sure why they needed to create a different CDS app for each compass point: North, South, East, West. I guess it is some kind of state gov scheme to employ more app developers in Victoria.

All over great app easy to use but definitely needs a barcode scanner so all the user's of the app don't have to go into a participating store to exchange the receipt for money

Utter garbage. At first, the app didn't work: My barcode from the app appeared to be not valid. Contacted support who told me I need to change settings in Google Chrome. Now tried it again and the barcode worked/got accepted at the recycling location. But I now didn't get the money for the recycling I returned (after a few days of waiting). So, maybe my barcode didn't work properly?! I'm giving up. This app is garbage.

I tried it, and it worked the first time to get a voucher, although I set it to bank deposit account ? It gave me a voucher? Voucher not bank deposit I got a voucher instead why? Although it was set to bank. Now it keeps saying I am am of line when I deposit cans and can't get it to go online? Can longer deposit them? Very annoying and complicated. Why?
