Love the app and use it all the time. I've noticed that I can no longer see the current mileage in the app, which was a pretty useful feature. Will that be coming back? Or, if that's supposed to be it that I'm seeing to the right above the fuel gauge on the home screen it's not right. Mine says 148 miles, and I wish!

Latest update ruined it. Takes forever to login, then takes more time to locate vehicle, even while standing in front of it. Sends inconsistent notifications; ex.: "Doors are open" when clearly they are not. I expect better from VW.

Sept 2026: app doesn't work with any 3rd part ROMs even with locked bootloader. I will certainly not be paying for VW remote services if they can't even make it possible on third-party ROMs to view your car charge state or lock status. I understand the concern the concerns around security but there should at least be partial functionality on third-party ROM. If banking apps can manage so can VW. Oct 2024 update: There should be a better way to track/provide direct feedback on bugs and features.

They removed support for Graphene OS, the most secure operating system for android. Extremely anti-consumer. Makes me want to sell my VW. Not to mention even when it worked it was extremely unreliable and didn't do useful things like to set the temp or turn on heated seats, or open/close windows or the rear hatch. What's the point even? $18 a month for the most useful feature which is remote start.
