Description
Welcome to myVW, a drive-changing app with connected vehicle services enabled through myVW+. The myVW app enables access to essential tools for most model year 2020 or newer VW vehicles, including service scheduling, finding a preferred Volkswagen dealer, viewing service history⁵, and other owner resources. Plus, subscribe to connected vehicle services plans to get access to additional available features (depending on vehicle model and equipment), such as:
• Remote start your engine¹ • Start and stop EV battery charging² • Remote lock or unlock your doors³ • Remote honk and flash² • Remotely access climate control for EVs² • Manage EV battery settings⁶ • View last parked location⁴ • Create vehicle alerts, including speed, curfew, valet and boundary alerts² • View fuel or EV battery status⁶ • Vehicle health reports⁷ • DriveView⁸ scores
Use of the myVW app requires acceptance of myVW Terms of Service. Connected vehicle services enabled through myVW+ are available on most MY20 and newer vehicles and require an included or paid subscription, some of which may have their own terms and conditions. Paid subscription is required to continue services after included plan expires. Visit the shop tab in the myVW mobile app to see how much time is remaining on your subscriptions. All connected vehicle services require the myVW app and myVW account, cellular connectivity, network compatible hardware, availability of vehicle GPS signal, and acceptance of myVW and myVW+ Terms of Service. Not all services and features are available on all vehicles and some features may require the most recent software update. Services depend on connection to and continued availability of 4G LTE cellular service, which is outside of Volkswagen’s control. Services are not guaranteed or warranted in the event of 4G LTE network shutdowns, obsolescence, or other unavailability of connectivity due to existing vehicle hardware or other factors. All services are subject to change, discontinuation, or cancellation without notice. Certain connected vehicle services may require additional payment for emergency or other third-party services rendered such as towing or ambulance transport services. Message and data rates may apply for app and web features. Connected vehicle services are not available on most MY20 Passat vehicles or rental fleet vehicles. See Terms of Service, Privacy Statement, and other important information at vw.com/connected. Always pay careful attention to the road and do not drive while distracted.

Love the app. We forgot to lock the car. I went to the app and locked it up while laying in bed. Keep up with our fuel mileage. Just love everything about it.

I like the app, but somehow it lacks of some information. About a week ago, the car stopped doing remote start, and the error message is just that it can't and that's it. The car does not have any errors or warnings in the display. All other remote commands do operate fine but remote start. May be is not an app but a car issue but as other commands do work fine, a little bit more info would be nice to understand if it's something that deserves to take the car to a service

Stop banning Graphene OS. It's a far more secure operating system and fully possible for you to verify the hardware, OS and your app on it if you insist on doing it. It's far more secure than anything you allow.

June 2026 update. Worked for a month however once again Remote Start, Lock/Unlock Doors and location features no longer work. Garbage app.

Every update makes you disconnect, and now you can't even open doors with the app. This app is terrible.

I can't believe they want people to pay to use this garbage app. Literally a 50/50 if it works or not. Most times, it thinks the car is already started and won't remotely start it.
