Description
Nagarik App (translation: Citizen App) is a mobile application launched by the Government of Nepal to provide government-related services in a single online platform. The app was developed to facilitate an easier, systematic, and simplified delivery of government services to Nepali citizens digitally. The app was launched to play a pivotal role in revolutionizing the way citizens interact with the government. It offers a wide spectrum of government services through a single unified platform, minimizing the need for citizens to navigate multiple channels or physical offices for their diverse needs of government services. The services are added gradually according to the needs and services required. The government aims to reduce the physical queues and the need to be physically present to get services from the different government offices and promote digital transactions. One can get services online round-the-clock even during holidays. As of now, 25 services are included in the app, ranging from Police Clearance Report to Voters Card.

The government should introduce a mobile number change option in the Nagarik App as soon as possible. If a citizen changes their mobile number, they should be able to update it easily in the app without facing unnecessary problems.

Overall app is good with all the services at one place, but it's been 3 months since I am trying to link my passport to nagarik app it always says service is currently unavailable. I hope it gets fixed ASAP.

Not good. Could not download the pram an patra of the taken class as the button didn't click. Neither could we re-download the pram an paras after going back. Looks like the development was done by vive coding and no Quality Assurance Testing. Now IDK if I have to retake the class physically or what. The app also took many days before showing me that a fine is paid after paying. There seems to be a lack of System Design, QA on every section of app

Literally the worst app. Why is an app that is supposed to be a government app so bad?? I used it a year ago. And then I uninstalled it. I installed it again today and I just can't log in. I entered my citizenship number, and it said there is no record. So I tried to log in with passport number and nid and the app says they currently cannot access department for passport and nid. Why is there an option if I can't use it?? Such useless app. It has been so many years and the app is still so bad
