We use the old ballasts with RTU-C1 sticks and they work great. Idk if everyone is bitching because they use the new APP ballasts? So far no complaints other than only being able to program 4 groups of lights.

I have all new App style ballasts & app DTU & RTU, while a bit stark, the app has worked flawlessly to turn my lights on & off. I have lights upstairs and in my basement and after first setting them out they function then turn themselves on and off reliably for over a couple of months. This is an extremely complex app and while I like to see more features integrated, say more information on each ballast, I'd rather maintain the stability that I have experience with the app thus far than add features that don't work. It seems like people who were early adopters, launch day buyers, and had issues on day one, should have expected that because that's what happens with every Tech product launch. You SHOULD stick with mech timers if you're not smart enough to expect some hiccups @launch. Here it is after an update or two and the reviews are 4&5 star. Now bring on the other DTU related controls!

Nanolux DTU does not work with Android Smart Phones. Android keeps having Bluetooth connection issues through the NCCS app when Android updates.

Garbage app. Worked about 20% of the time with android 7. Updated to Android 8 and now Bluetooth won't even recognize the dtu. I feel like they are forcing me to purchase their monthly service for WiFi as that's probably the only way you'll be able to configure your lights
