Great App. Used my Nexgrill Oak ford 580 for the first time last week. Works great, especially with THIS App, along with the temperature probes. The grill comes with one probe, but has input jacks for four, so purchase a couple more off of Amazon. They are just as good as the OEM probe. Just make sure you get a 3.5 mm "mono" (only one black bar on the male input) probe. If you use a probe in slot #1, the grill shuts down when you reach the set temp. #2 - 4 will only set off your App alarm.

I called Nexgrill Wed about connecting to BT and not Wi-Fi anymore. That night, I got a text from the app programmers. We talked by phone Thurs, and they found that it was a problem with Android 13 which my phone was just updated to. A fix was in the App store the next day (Friday) and things work again. BEFORE ripping the app, call and get it worked out first. BTW 250 is NOT a standard for smoking. App has a SMOKE setting for 225 (low and slow). Don’t be lazy and up it if you want to smoke at 250

App is unusable. I've tried for over an hour to connect to the smoker, and it just sits at about 90%. I'm fairly certain that Nexgrill doesn't care about their app. They just want your email and phone number to sell to third parties.

This app is useless! Won't connect to the grill on BT or Wi-Fi. Continues to say the grill is off when it infact is on and running, not very well I might add. Set grill temp to 400 for the first cook like the manual says, but it won't get higher than 370. I will be taking this back and getting something else.
