Nikkup: Muslim Marriage App

Nikkup is a marriage app, not a dating app, for Muslims who are serious about nikah. Everyone who joins makes the same pledge: to be here for marriage only, to be honest, to keep things modest and to welcome the involvement of family.

REAL, SELFIE-CHECKED PEOPLE
• Every account is tied to a verified phone number: one person, one account.
• A live selfie check with a short head-turn confirms that you are a real person and that your photos are really you. Profiles appear in Discover only after this check.
• Optional ID verification (for example CNIC, Emirates ID, Iqama or passport) adds an "ID verified" badge. Your ID is never shown to other members and is deleted after review.
• Sisters can ask for a female reviewer.

YOUR WALI AND FAMILY, INCLUDED
• Invite your wali or guardian. Once they accept, you can let them follow a conversation through email summaries.
• Share a text-only summary of a profile with your wali or family to ask their opinion (never photos).
• Move forward step by step, and only when you both agree: getting to know each other, serious, family involved, proposal, nikah planned.

PRIVACY THAT RESPECTS MODESTY
• Choose who sees your photos: everyone, only your matches, only people you approve, or only people you choose. Everyone else sees a blurred photo.
• Choose your profile visibility: Public, Private or Invisible.
• Only your first name is shown. Your phone number, exact birthday and exact location are never shown; others see your age and city.
• Hide your profile from people in your contacts.
• Screenshots of profiles and chats are blocked.
• Head coverings are always welcome, and sisters who wear niqab may use a covered photo.

SAFE, RESPECTFUL CONVERSATIONS
• Phone numbers, emails and social handles are hidden early in a conversation, so you can get to know someone safely inside the app first.
• Report or block anyone, from their profile or from the chat. Reports are confidential and reviewed by trained moderators.
• Every photo is checked before it appears, and messages are checked for scams and abuse.
• A Help & Safety centre with meeting tips, a meeting checklist and an easy way to share your meeting plans with someone you trust.

MATCHES WITH PURPOSE
• Tell us about your deen, family, education, marriage timeline and what you are looking for, including your deal breakers.
• See why a profile was suggested to you, and filter by what matters to you.
• New matches expire after 7 days if no one starts talking, which keeps conversations purposeful.

FREE FOR WOMEN
Nikkup is free for women. Verification, Discover, matching, chat, wali tools and safety features are free for everyone. Men get a free core and optional Nikkup Plus. Optional extras, like a second number for sharing, are paid.
