We've been hearing a low hum for months at night that keeps us awake. This app is picking up the frequency and duration. I wish I could record a video of the spectrogram to be able to show as proof.

I ask my teenage daughter is she can hear any noise she said no. I checked with my parabolic noise capture I hear faint. It is registering 32 dB in our apartment. I can feel the vibration, but I can't hear it. That's the very reason I downloaded this app to check that I'm not crazy, lol. I love this app. Could I keep this? Plus no add, this app is a keeper.

At first great. Now? Haywire! It won't go to the menu. Or map. Or filters. It's hitting 80 dbs, and spinning! The dbs are correct. But the other spin and freeze?! Why don't you ever put your email here? I don't like airing dirty laundry in public!

This does a good job at recording averages of background noise, but not for any specific sounds you're trying to measure, especially if they're short. My upstairs neighbor has been dancing a lot with loud footsteps, and I wanted to record it. While using this app, it registered spikes in decibels upwards of 70, but these were not saved or reflected at all in the final results, as each individual spike did not last a full second. I was also not able to view the original graph that reflected this
