This rating isn't representative of the app because i didn't use it, when I saw the £79.99 per year after 1 week. Age rage? You don't seem to be able to try it with embarking on a subscription path that requires opting out somehow.

My son never stayed focused during guitar lessons. We tried Notey and he's been playing for hours

Fantastic app! My youngest one didn't want to practice his guitar and after his teacher introduced him to this app, he is now practicing every day.

It's okay, but it had a lot of excess stuff and was in my face about random stuff like a reward, and I felt like I was straining my eyes to see the stuff on the screen. The app didn't pick up the note I played either unless I strummed it really hard, which hurt my fingers and definitely wasn't good for the guitar. The app is 60% game and fluff and 40% actually learning. I don't recommend this app.

WHAT ARE PEOPLE SAYING ABOUT NOTEY’S WORLD?
“Finally an intelligent guitar app! This is what I was wishing for when Guitar Hero was all the rage. No one learns to play the guitar on a plastic, guitar-shaped controller. This app uses a real guitar and what a motivator! This makes practicing and learning fun! It is a “must have” for beginning guitar students!"
- Bill Swick, Award Winning Educator
“Notey provides my students with a fun and interactive way to practice. From scales to concert repertoire Notey keeps my students engaged and allows me to track their progress and helps my students become more confident on stage.”
Benjamin Broughton, Music Teacher at Dreher High School
"My kids love music and they love getting virtual prizes on their tablet games. With Notey they are able to earn prizes and learn how to play the guitar all while playing fun games. We are excited to see how their energy will transform into musical learning!"
- Mani Mahjouri, Parent
