I like the sad because being that I just celebrated my 47th year of not only being a resident of this wonderful city of New York but being a resident of the United States this app has been very informative to me in terms of what goes on was going on and what's about to happen and the type of events that's going on in New York City and this is a wonderful app, and I definitely would highly recommend this app to any native New Yorker or to anyone who would like to travel to New York. ❤️❤️❤️❤️💯💯💯

Useful, but cannot turn off missing persons alerts I got this at the start of COVID, and I'm glad to have it in case there's a local emergency. But would you knock it off with the missing persons! What am I supposed to do with these? Most are not nearby, some are not even in the city! This is NYC, it's nuts to thing I'm going to recognize someone from Nassau while walking down the streets of FiDi. It's effectively spam.

This app is of limited utility on my phone because notifications do not get pushed until the app is opened and active in the foreground.
