Comments on Octopus Balance Reader for Android

★★★★★ A Google user · Jan 10, 2017

Does exactly what it's meant to Simple with no strings attached or privacy concerns. Note that each phone's location for the NFC sensor maybe different, but once you find out where the sensor is this app works really well

★★★★☆ Wayne Johncock · Jan 30, 2016

Octopus Top Up Love it. Haven't used Octopus card since last in Hong Kong in 2013. Downloaded app and see history and can top up straight away!

★★★★★ Kevin Oh · Aug 25, 2021

Does not show whether octopus card is deactivated, but reads remaining amount correctly.

★★★★★ Zu G · Aug 25, 2016

Works well! No need to search for octopus machine balance reader when you have this app! It is very handy!!!

★☆☆☆☆ RYAN BANANA · Oct 23, 2015

I liked it. It WAS good. But it's NOT working on samsung S4 from a few weeks ago. Please fix it.

★★☆☆☆ Kinichiro Fujikawa · Oct 11, 2017

Shows $15 more than actual balance. Tried with elder cards, issued in October 2017. Works good for adult, elder, child cards issued in September 2017. Possibly due to octopus negative balance policy change in this October.

★☆☆☆☆ Henry Henda · Dec 5, 2019

It shows my octopus card balance value inaccurately. It always shows $7 less than the true balance.
