The application works fine if you do the steps as I did. 1. Insert the memory card into the slot make sure you put it the right way. Then switch on the camera. You hear a message press the photo button to format the memory card. Press the button firmly and a green LED will blink during the formatting session. 2. When formatting is done press the power button once more like a click this will initiate the Wi-Fi of the camera. A blue LED will start blinking. 3. Make sure that you have downloaded the OD-cam application into your phone or tablet. 4. Go into your Wi-Fi settings and chose the Wi-Fi helper where you can choose networks between Wi-Fi and mobile networks. Then disable automatic Wi-Fi selection of the best Wi-Fi. 5. If your camera it has been disconnected then reconnect by pressing quick the power button. 6. Then you will see the camera SSID name and by clicking on it, you connect your phone or tablet to the camera. 7. Enjoy the camera

App sucks but found a way to connect, I had to connect there other app d video for od cam to work, and turn on phone device discovery in settings. Then it connected when in Wi-Fi settings. I haven't played with Recording with it yet or (live feed which I doubt works) but I can see what the camera sees. Wi-Fi connection is disabled to your Wi-Fi when this is connected but may be ok outside

It says it needs permission but the only permission the app asks for is my location. And while on it still says remind please goto settings and allow permission. It should clearly state what permission is required and allow me to confirm the permission
