Great, fun game. But very difficult to win. While all the games of the Conflict series are challenging, all model the battles and campaigns they depict with remarkable fidelity. Hence, not surprisingly the most difficult titles are those where the player plays the side that lost historically. To win in Operation-Market Garden, and 'change history,' you'll need lots of skill and luck. It's no mean feat to do as well as Montgomery did, and fall short just short of Arnhem. Highly recommended

Both too easy and too hard This is a regiment/brigade-level game of Market Garden, and oddly not as challenging as the other games in the series, let alone as challenging as the actual operation. The German 15th Army barely presents the obstacle it did historically, and I linked up with the British 1st Airborne quite easily, but by that time, the division had barely entered Arnhem. I did like the addition of recon flights.

Took me multiple times to find a repeatable winning strategy, I think hear optimal. Flee South brave British paratroopers! A great game somewhat marred by Joni allowing you unlimited turns, with no weather or other operational constraints closing in, and the huge rivers remain crossable

Game is unbalanced. Germans are too strong. Rules are opaque. Map is difficult to read. A good game but needs some development to make it enjoyable to play.

I used to like all the games from Joni, but I just cannot get my head around what he has done here. The game balance is just plain wrong as far as I am concerned. I may well be in a minority, but I just do not like the direction Joni is taking and for the first time will have to delete one of his games. I am very disappointed. I doubt I will buy another of his games, unless he changes direction. Sorry. On the positive side, I have loads of respect for Joni, had a couple of great conversations with him, I just cannot agree with him here.
