We believe that if your computer keyboard doesn't ask for internet access, neither should your mobile keyboard. FUTO Keyboard is a modern keyboard app with voice input that is completely offline and never connects to the internet, in order to ensure your privacy and security.
FUTO Keyboard contains modern features such as autocorrect, voice input and swipe typing. It is also configurable to suit your personal taste.

I am absolutely blown away by FUTO Keyboard. It is 100% offline and has not used a single byte of data since I installed it. The features are incredibly well-thought-out, especially the clipboard management. Copying text is seamless, and the ability to safely export and import clipboard data completely offline is amazing. Excellent modern keyboard that uses whisper LLM integration for offline voice dictation. It's really, really solid and works in many languages. It's still in development but in several ways already better than other keyboards which have been out for years. The recent swipe model in the latest versions is a significant improvement that more or less matches the other best ones out there.

Holy guacamole, the models that you can install externally are really nice for the voice input in English! Thus is a darn nice keyboard. Seems good for privacy, too.

A 3.9 rating, and they want more than $10 for this thing? I don't know why gemini recommended this keyboard and its voice input, and by the way the keyboard doesn't come with the voice input which there's a blurb on the download page that mentions the voice input it doesn't come with the keyboard. You have to download it separately and then want you to pay for it separately. I've already uninstalled it. You can read my review for its voice input to see what I don't feel like repeating.

I switched to FUTO Keyboard from Gboard because of privacy issues. FUTO does everything Gboard does, but unfortunately it doesn't do much of it very well. Most of my gripes have been minor annoyances that could overlook. The voice to text feature, however, is abysmal. Gboard has always translated my voice to text almost perfectly. With FUTO, it's like I'm speaking another language. It rarely translates anything I say into what I actually said. Using this app just isn't working out for me.

I have turned anything off that has to do with autocorrection, but it keeps autocorrect and replace the text I am typing, with something that is not even words andnhqve (it just did it while typing this). Andnhqve is not a word, it keeps replacing correct text with nonsense. It also put a space before comma, where the space should be after the comma, and the same with punctuation. Of course not all the time, it actually seems random. Please fix
