From March 24, 2022, the SmartBank service will be phased out in the retail clientele and will be replaced with the new OTP Bank Mobile Application. You can read about the details on www.otpbank.hu.
OTP SmartBank
To use SmartBank, you need to register in the application, which requires your internetbank identifier and a 6-8 digit PIN code. The PIN code can be substituted by a fingerprint if the device is capable. To finish the registration, providing an SMS code is necessary.

I had a really terrible experience with this bank "OTP" you need to wait approximately for an hour then go the bank clerk just because you can't speak Hungarian, and they don't have just one or two bank clerks who can speak English then when you get your turn the bank employee are absolutely impolite they have that lack of communication and if you ask them a question on how to fill this or whatever you want the just burst into anger I really not recommend this bank for foreigners.

I have experienced a bug when I wanted to log in: "Communication error! The selected Wi-Fi is inadequate for using Smart Bank." However, I use my mobile network(4G), not the Wi-Fi. Please, correct the error. Thank you!
