Otto

Otto is a calm, low-stimulation routine app built for autistic children and their families — with ADHD in mind too.

Each day is one big "Now" card and one "Next" card, so a child always knows what's happening and what's coming, without a cluttered list to parse. Tasks earn quiet stars — never taken away, never scored against anything — and a child can work towards a picture goal they choose with a parent.

What's in Otto:
• My Day — one task at a time, with a picture for every routine step
• A shared family calendar for appointments and events, including repeating ones
• A gentle "how are you feeling?" board — no logging, just a place to point
• Optional, consented location sharing so a parent knows a child is safe
• Teachers and carers can be added to help with routines, without seeing location
• Works for one child or a whole family, with as many grown-ups as you need

Built with autism and ADHD both in mind: time is made visible, reinforcement is immediate, and everything is one step on screen at a time.

Otto has no adverts, no trackers and no in-app purchases. It was built by Sentrixa, a UK company, in consultation with autistic children and their families.

Location sharing is optional and only for child accounts, with a parent's explicit consent recorded in the app — see our privacy policy for the full detail.

Recent changes:
Location sharing now starts with a clear explanation: what is shared, who can see it, how long it is kept, and that it carries on when the app is closed. Nothing is switched on until you tap "Agree and turn on", and you can say "No thanks".
