Pro features are powerful. This outlining app is perfect for my needs. It allows me to maintain a fairly complex outline on my Android device but then work with the same outline on my Mac using OmniOutliner. Syncing is done using the built-in Dropbox support. Like others have mentioned, the technical support is also excellent. The tutorial file is great, but I had a question about importing OPML files. I emailed the developer and got a response right away with everything I needed to know to make it work.

Just what I was looking for. Easy to use outliner. Simple, straight forward design. No adds for the free version. I especially like the import, export, and sync to Dropbox features. And technical support was quick and helpful.

I think you got my money to stop ads, which it did, however it will not back up to SD card. It also does not back up to the device. It does fill my need just has no backup. It states it does, it does create folders with no info

Can write to external SD In order to use external SD in Android 5.1.1, the app must prompt the user for external SD access. How do I get Outliner to initiates the request?

Setting up Dropbox sync= nightmare. Have to drop file manually, unlike most apps. Still no idea how to sync something to my tablet that only exists on my phone. Unfortunate, since otherwise easy to use. Having OVERWRITE-on-conflict as default is bad idea. Needs DUPLICATE-OUTLINE, since u will probably corrupt my data. Also, I bought on Tablet, and it still wants to charge me for phone.

I bought the Pro version because Tree Pad advertised it as having the ability to sync with it on Android. However, I found out the hard way that it has not kept up with the latest editions of .tpd files and therefore will not sync as claimed. Most disappointed. Tree Pad It's Not
