Incorporating data from our own network of weather stations and webcams, the Australian Bureau of Meteorology, and numerous third-party sources, the popular Oz Forecast weather website is now available directly as a free weather app. Overlays your current location on the BOM weather radar data, together with the satellite cloud map, lightning strikes and wind observations. Also Includes other information such as graphical tide explorer and sunrise/sunset information.
Several home screen widgets are also provided: • Display a thumbnail of the nearest BOM radar, highlighting your current location. • Show current observations from your nearest weather station with a two day forecast. • 2x1 widget displaying just the latest observations from your nearest weather station. • 1x1 sunrise/sunset widget.

Real Australian local weather (at last!) There has been a constant struggle to get good quality, local *Australian* weather. A lot of what you find here in the Play store is software from elsewhere that just reformats various international feeds to make it seem like you're getting local content. I know from experience that it can be wildly inaccurate. With Oz Forecast you're getting real local, accurate weather from the BoM and its from an Australian developer. This app gives you everything you need in one place including wind, radar and lightning (handy to see how long you've got that Southerly Buster hits!)

Ap was unable to find my location and when I typed it in manually it gave a different location 2000 km away.

Grey background is back again. Was working great, but unfortunately the gray background has made a return. I open the app and all I get is the gray background.

Won't work. I type in my location and that's all good but when I attempt to tap on radar and forecast they don't open. The same goes got the other tabs...
