Just out of curiosity and to see if it is possible I wrote a small app for Android that can connect to a painlessMesh network (https://gitlab.com/painlessMesh/painlessMesh) and act like a node.

Nice work, thank you. But I have some problems! First, it doesn't work on my LG mobile phone (Q6 Android 8.1), at all, and after installing on my Samsung tablet, it works but, not in satisfying manner. It keeps disconnecting and reconnecting again and again! I can't see the tablet mac address as a node on serial arduino monitor but, when broadcasting a message, it appears. We are looking forward to seeing it fixed by the next version. Thanks again.
