I was intrigued by this app's simple approach. I often observe palm trees to gauge wind speed for kiting or winging sessions. In the past I didn't have a precise frame of reference to match my observations. This app matches wind speeds with the observable effects seen in palm trees. It's easy to use, accurate and gives the user a clear indication of the current wind speed range. Great little tool for beach checks, quite practical, without the cost of an expensive handheld anemometer.
