Panswap

Panswap helps when the recipe calls for one pan and your cupboard holds another. Pick the pan the recipe was written for, pick the pan you have, and Panswap tells you how much to multiply every ingredient by. Both pans are drawn side by side at the same scale, so you can see the difference in size before you start mixing.

How it works
Choose a shape for each pan: round, square, rectangle, loaf, tube or bundt, or sheet. Type the size in inches or centimeters, or tap one of the common sizes. Panswap compares the base areas and shows the multiplier, for example 1.2656 when moving from an 8 inch round to a 9 inch round, together with a friendly fraction such as about 1 1/4 times the recipe. Add the depth of both pans and the comparison switches to volume.

Panswap also explains which way to adjust the bake: deeper batter wants a slightly lower temperature and a longer bake, shallow batter bakes faster, and tube pans heat from the center. It gives the direction in plain words rather than guessing minutes.
