I was expecting a lot worse from the reviews, but the app is fine. Works on my old cheap phone (Samsung Galaxy A3 2017) and is even fairly quick. Will say, alerts don't work the way I think they should, I set the balance alert in hopes that it would alert me when my transactions stopped pending, and I could pay them off. No alert received. Suspect it only goes off when the statement balance reaches X% and not just the balance. Know what else alerts me about the statement balance? The statement!

I don't understand all the negative reviews here. Once installed I logged in using my online account no problem. I still need to use CVV as well as fingerprint to log in, but that's fine. Having used the website for years I was able to find the same features-recent transactions, statements, card controls. All easy to use and navigate.

Would be 5 stars but if you use the biometrics fingerprint you can't leave the app using the Back button, you have to kill it manually.

Still a hopeless app. Registering date of birth requires you to scroll through every month - very tedious - it has been like this for years - please update.

What a disaster this card is, unable to download app on my Samsung, told it's not compatible, the layout of the statement is diabolical, I'm sent a statement telling me how much I owe, duly paid it, then two days later I get another one, because there were payments pending, why can't they wait until these come through, John Lewis you have made a very grave mistake here, is it because you get a better deal with this substandard provider? One can only hope these are teething problems, I doubt it.
