Security
The PayClip device is EMV Level 1 and 2, EMV Level 1 contactless, Paywave Level 2 and Paypass Level 2 certified. The card reader device is PCI-PTS v3.1 approved, including SRED P2PE. The payment application utilises 3DES encryption in the card reader to encrypt sensitive card data in all transaction requests and uses a secure HSM to decrypt requests at the host side. The mobile application establishes a TLS session to transport the encrypted data.
