PDF Speaker

PDF Speaker helps you read, listen to, and translate your PDFs. Follow the text as it is read aloud and save passages you want to revisit.

• Listen to PDF text with reading highlights and adjustable speech speed.
• Translate supported languages offline with automatic source-language detection.
• Recognize printed text in scanned PDF pages that use the Latin alphabet.
• Save and share highlighted passages.
• Save a page bookmark for each PDF and keep your reading progress by page.
• View original PDF pages and their layout.
• Choose theme colors and switch between light and dark mode.

Choose your translation language, and the speech language follows that selection. Reading aloud requires a compatible installed offline voice for the selected language.

Offline translation requires the appropriate language packs. Internet access is needed to download these packs, and translation packs are separate from speech voices. Text recognition accuracy depends on scan quality.

PDF text recognition and translation run on your device. No app account is required.
