This app is an amazing tool for the mountain lovers! It's very precise and shows numerous peaks directly above the camera image. It seems to be a fresh release, but the future potential is very promising!

I live in the Colorado mountains, and I've been using this app for a couple of years - it's awesome. You can be in one spot and know exactly the mountains you are seeing. Move a few miles and the perspective changes. Drive a few miles and wonder what the names of the new mountains you're seeing might be? Bring up Peak Visor, match the app profiles to what your phone camera sees, and you have the answers.

The iOS version of this app is so much better. Android ones don't work as good.

The AR was way off, the mountains slowly crawling all over the place, never matching the current horizon view. I just launched the after the recent update, and the app crashes twice when I tried replacing the overlay type. Very unstable, and really useful when it doesn't crash.

Despite having "offline maps" the app doesn't start if you are in airplane mode, so this is worthless to me in the back country -- where I most want to identify peaks. Other gps based apps work fine.
