I've been using this app for almost 2 years now and have never had an idea to look for anything else. I'm not doing any sport nonsense that requires complex apps, so simple steps tracker is exactly what I need. If you don't need anything more than a simple, effective steps' tracker, that's your friend.

Edit: Advertisements play loud audio as soon as you open the app. Will these advertisers ever run out of new ways to annoy us? The only thing is don't buy anything from them, and give apps who use such advertising bad reviews. Quite good and accurate, but you do need to check it every time to make sure it's working as it may have updated without warning and ask for permissions again. That is quite annoying.

Features a stop and start button. Continually turns off, so your steps will be very inaccurate. It doesn't tell you if it turns the steps off. Just finished another hike only to look at my phone to see my steps and see that they're zero because it turned itself off at the beginning of the day
