Connect to shopping, social events, restaurants, medical appointments, hospitals, schools, jobs, and more with Pelivan Transit.
Pelivan is a ridesharing service that’s smart and easy. With a few taps, book an on-demand or future ride in the app and our technology will pair you with other people headed in the same direction. You may also call in to book trips.
How it works: - Book a ride on your smart phone by setting your pickup and dropoff addresses, and indicating if you’re riding with any additional passengers. You may also call a booking agent to book your trip over the phone. - For same-day trips, the app or agent will tell you the vehicle's ETA. For future trips, select the preferred pickup window that works for you. You’re expected to be ready at any time during that pickup window. - We’ll give you an automated call or send you a text notification when we’re nearby. You’ll also receive one automated call or text reminder for each trip you have scheduled for the next day. - When your driver arrives, they will wait up to 5 minutes at your pickup location. If they arrive early, they will wait until the start of your pickup window, and then wait another 5 minutes. - If paying cash, please pay your driver when you board. - There may be others on board, or you may make a few additional stops along the way! You can track your ride and share your status in live-time during your trip from the app.

The app books your ride(s) through the main Pelican office in Big Cabin, not the local offices. The app will get you all set up with your rides and just before you're about to leave for your pickup location, the local Pelican office will inform you there is "nothing available" and therefore your ride is canceled. If you use this app - or Pelican in general - don't take its word for it that you have a ride. Make sure you have an alternate ride to and from your destination if at all possible.

The app doesn't tell if you is the drivers have rides ahead of yours, so it will sit there and say you have 2 minutes until the driver is there but the driver will start driving away from your area because they have a total different ride to do. This has made me late to work COUNTLESS times. Im actually really frustrated with the app and when you call customer service they tend to get snippy with you. I don't have any issues with the drivers. They're fine, but the app is ridiculous.
