Worst app ever. Every single time I open this app, it greets me with a 'connection error' or 'server error.' Even when my internet is perfectly fine with every other app, this one refuses to connect. It is incredibly frustrating to deal with this daily. Digital banking is supposed to be convenient, but you can never rely on this app when you actually need it. Please fix your servers!

The Peoples Wave banking app needs improvement in the “Save Favorite Beneficiary” transfer section. Currently, when sending money to a saved favorite beneficiary, the app automatically selects the first beneficiary in the dropdown list by default. This creates a serious risk—if a user forgets to manually change the selection, money can be transferred to the wrong person by mistake. This should be redesigned so that no beneficiary is auto-selected by default. The dropdown should remain blank.

Every time I try to log into this app, it shows errors such as “Please make sure your connected network has internet access and try again” or “Unable to connect to a server.” The app also crashes frequently. Although the hotline staff mention that system development is in progress, People’s Bank, as a trusted bank in Sri Lanka, still does not provide a quality and reliable digital banking application. In my experience, this is one of the worst banking apps I have ever used.
