Love it! Only one flaw. You need to go to the stock fish website and download stock fish 14 zip file (or latest version) and extract it to a folder on your device. Then under the settings in Perfect Chess Trainer you disable default engine and then click on navigate to engine, then navigate to the downloaded file in the folder you extracted. Now the stock fish engine in tne app will work. The one they default install crashes the app.

This could be the absolute best chess trainer for your phone if it wasn't for that constant crashes. When this gets fixed I will promise to give it 5 stars, until then the app is unplayable

This app does not work properly. It's a shame because it's supposed to do a lot. I purchased the Pro version a few years ago, and it didn't work right then, and it doesn't work well now.

Though there are many other areas I have yet to explore, there are positions where alternate mating (or winning series of moves of the same length) are counted as wrong. For example, from Fred Seinfeld's classic "1001 Brilliant Ways to Checkmate" is the following position: r3k2r/ppp2ppp/8/3pn3/3Pn3/P1PK1B2/2PB1qPP/R2Q3R w kq - 1 2 Note that Black can mate White with either 1... Nc5+ followed by 2... Ne5# or switching the order of moves with 1... Ne5+ followed by 2... Nc5#. The program counts the second option as incorrect. This is a defect I have found in other positions, too. The programmer needs to either program in viable alternate sequences or eliminate positions with more than one solution. I bought this mostly to stay sharp with tactics, and it is aggravating to be counted wrong when right.

The game freezes when I play after I paid for this app it kinda sucks that I have to struggle just to play a game of chess!!
