Forced update disabled features. Wow. Never seen this one before. A forced update and now I cannot turn on and off my lights using my Google home speakers. I've heard of discontinuing products by no longer updating them but TAKING AWAY FUNCTIONALITY IN A FORCED UPDATE?!? Want me to upgrade? You got it. Not Philips though. Bye bye. Oh and I was offered a "free" v2 bridge that somehow cost $57. Sorry Philips but you need to look up the term free in the dictionary because free means $0. I don't need a bulb either. This was so disgusting I am going to change to another manufacturer for my smart bulbs. Why would I buy a v2 bridge for $57 only to go through this in 2-3 more years again?

Utter rubbish...frustration hue should have been its name. Inconsistent, network issues, poor device. Do not buy. I removed Phillips lights and bridge because of the many issues.

Under no circumstances purchase Philips lights. After spending hundred on the hub and lights they suddenly stop making them compatible with voice assistant to FORCE you to purchase everything again! DO NOT BUY
