By Felice Marra, from Google Play“88-key sampled piano: 6 sounds, two keyboards, scales, record and MIDI export.”
Description by Felice Marra Written by the developer, not by AppBrain. Click to read.
Piano Keyboard: Play & Learn is a full 88-key virtual piano with a sampled concert grand, five more sounds, two keyboards, sustain, a metronome, recording with MIDI and audio export, scale and chord highlights, and support for USB and Bluetooth MIDI keyboards. Practise a piece, work out a melody, learn your scales or jam with an external keyboard.
A PIANO THAT SOUNDS REAL
• Sampled grand piano, brighter the harder you play.
• Electric piano, organ, harpsichord, strings and pad.
• Adjustable reverb and volume.
• Native low-latency audio engine for instant response.
THE FULL KEYBOARD
• All 88 keys, from A0 to C8. Drag the mini-map to move along the keyboard, or jump an octave at a time.
• Five key widths: big keys for practice, small keys for wide chords.
• Full multi-touch: play with all ten fingers, slide along the keys for a glissando.
• Touch-sensitive: play near the top of a key for a soft note, near the front for a loud one. Or choose a fixed strength.
• Note names on the keys: C D E, Do Re Mi or none.
TWO KEYBOARDS
• Two rows, each with its own sound and position: left hand and right hand, or piano and strings together.
SUSTAIN AND TRANSPOSE
• On-screen sustain pedal: hold it like a pedal or tap it to keep it on.
• Transpose by ±12 semitones and play in any key with the same fingering.
LEARN THEORY
• Highlight any scale or chord: major, minor, modes, pentatonic, blues, sevenths and more, on any tonic.
• The right notes light up, the tonic is marked: play only the lit keys and you are in key.
• See the name of the chord you are playing.
• One-finger chords for beginners: a single key plays a whole chord.
METRONOME
• 30 to 240 BPM with an accented first beat, perfectly timed by the audio engine.
RECORD AND EXPORT
• Record what you play, with the sustain pedal and both keyboards.
• Play your takes back, rename them, keep them on your device.
• Export as a standard MIDI file for any music app or DAW, or as a WAV audio file. On Android save them straight to your Music folder.
MIDI KEYBOARDS AND COMPUTER KEYBOARD
• Connect a USB or Bluetooth MIDI keyboard and play the app's sounds, with velocity and sustain pedal.
• On tablets and Chromebooks play with the computer keyboard: two rows of keys, space for sustain.
PERFECT FOR
• Piano practice anywhere, without carrying a keyboard.
• Beginners learning notes, scales and chords.
• Songwriters working out melodies and chord progressions.
• Musicians who want a pocket MIDI sound module.
DESIGNED FOR PLAYING
• Opens straight on the keyboard, in landscape for the widest keys.
• Dark and light theme, 71 languages.
