There's a widely held belief that absolute (perfect) pitch is purely genetic, a rare gift you're either born with or you aren't. Research on approaches like the Eguchi method suggests the picture may be more nuanced: early, playful exposure to pitch may help children develop stronger pitch recognition over time.

How it works:

Each Wobbly represents a musical note or chord, but they're sneaky! A Wobbly hides and then plays its sound, leaving your child to figure out which one it was from the lineup. Pick the right Wobbly enough times and you earn it. Pick wrong and the round continues.

Levels gradually increase in difficulty: early stages introduce just a handful of Wobblies with very distinct chords, while later levels add more characters and subtler notes. Higher levels are only unlocked once the lower levels are mastered, ensuring your child does not progress too quickly before they are ready.
