PlantSat- Satellite Precision

PlantSat is a global platform for satellite based precision agriculture. At PlantSat, we are excited to leverage the power of big data, machine learning, and remote sensing technology to democratize crop health information anywhere on the planet earth, every 3-5 days. We also provide a reliable and near real-time precision nutrient mapping based guidance to the farmers assisting them in topdressing nitrogen-based fertilizers in a timely and efficient way.

App Features:

1. Crop Performance Monitoring: The farmers can track crop performance through this feature. It helps in maximizing farm productivity through a timely advisory on identifying the intervention areas by monitoring crop performance.

2. Precision Nutrient Management Strategy: It provides the farmer guidance for optimum nitrogen-based fertilizer application for top dressing crops, based on the vegetation zoning. The vegetation zoning is determined on the basis of the latest canopy nitrogen content data from satellite imagery, crop stage, and type. The optimized use of fertilizer will help reduce nitrogen leaching as well as anthropogenic GHG emissions. It will ultimately aid in financial and health benefits to the farmers.

3. Expense Tracking: We help farmers keep track of their finances throughout different growing seasons helping them reap the best benefits of their hard work.
